What are the benefits of hiring a doula?
Research has shown the benefits of hiring a doula include having better birth outcomes. Expectant mothers are two times less likely to experience a birth complication involving themselves or their baby. In addition, the information and encouragement communicated to a mother from a doula throughout pregnancy has been found to increase the mother’s self-efficacy and ability to impact her own pregnancy and birth outcomes.
Skylar is the best! She listened intently to everything we wanted including a few of our concerns. When she came for the birth of my son, she was compassionate, helpful, and well prepared. She even stayed after to help clean. She also makes the best lactation cookies; I’m still thinking about them. Hire her! You will be so grateful!

Skylar is the best! She was willing to add me in to her schedule a few weeks before my due date and was available for any questions leading up to my birth. I ended up having a pretty quick delivery but it was great to have her there to provide comfort and also take some precious videos and pictures for us. She has been a great help during postpartum as well and makes some amazing lactation cookies!
